Yesterday as part of its 2021 Upfronts 10 also announced a handful of new titles for its multichannels, including local Kid’s dramas Dive Club and a new season of Bureau of Magical Things.

Network 10 Head of Programming, Daniel Monaghan, said: “With access to the most entertaining and engaging content in the world through ViacomCBS, 10 Peach and 10 Bold have really hit their stride.

“The addition of 10 Shake to our family of channels has been fantastic. With 10 Bold up 17% year-on year and 10 Peach up 9% year-on-year, I am proud to say we are the only network where all our multi-channels are growing.”

10 Bold

10 Bold the #1 commercial multi-channel in total people.

Monaghan said: “10 Bold is the fastest growing commercial multi-channel, up 17% year-on- year. It’s also up 24% year-on-year in its key demographic of people over 40 and has achieved a phenomenal 20 months of consecutive year-on-year audience growth.”

Returning series include Law & Order: SVU, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and CSI: Miami and Hawaii 5-0.

10 Bold is also boasting brand new first-run seasons of L.A.’s Finest Season 2, NCIS: New Orleans Season 7, MacGyver Season 5 and SEAL Team Season 4.

10 Peach

10 Peach features Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld, Mom, 2 Broke Girls and Australia’s longest running drama, Neighbours.

Monaghan said: “We’ve been building great momentum on 10 Peach this year. It is up 32% year-on-year in its key demographic of 16 to 39s. Not only is it the #1 multi-channel in this demographic, but it has also achieved 37 consecutive weeks of year-on-year growth.”

  1. With WIN not providing 10 Shake in the regions, all the childrens’ programming that moved over from Peach can’t be seen. That leaves WIN without any children’s programming, which would put them in breach of government rules, wouldn’t it?

    1. Not as I understand it. Quotas are suspended in 2020. From 2021 there is no more Children’s TV quota (many articles post on this if you search). The Drama quota of 200 points can be series / mini / feature film / children’s / comedy -up to the network what mix works for them.

      1. Thanks David. Yeah I was aware of the Covid suspension but was unsure how firm the longer term quota changes were. I have read on TV Tonight of concerns within the industry about reduced Australian childrens’ TV productions.
Thanks for your great work with TV Tonight David.

  2. 10 should have Wheel of Fortune Monday to Friday at 6pm and Weekend Wheel 6pm Sat and Sunday. An Aussie version based on the US syndicated format. Fast and slick. A quality game show not something niche and budget looking. Id love to see Deborah Mailman hosting weekdays.

  3. Hi David, is there any word if 10 Shake is going to be added to Foxtel’s channel lineup in the near future, because I would like to watch 10 shake but I can’t as it is not coming though Foxtel.

  4. Why on earth did 10 have to add Shake and transfer James Corden from Peach. I cannot get it through Foxtel which I need to access all channels including free to air as I can’t tune into digital channels on the tv in my bedroom which I use for all my viewing. Which also means I can no longer record it. So the only chance I have is getting up to view the lounge tv which has the digital channels but I also can’t record on that tv. Or I have to watch through on demand which I also can only get Shake on my laptop and not my tablet. So Channel 10 has a lot to answer for these unnecessary changes. And I dint know how to contact them(10play doesn’t even have a contact me area now) so that’s why I’m complaining here! And finally to keep taking SVU off and in I’ve given up and bought season 21 DVD to watch it.

    1. Think of us regionals. Unlikely to ever see Shake on WIN. Re L&O SVU, try tour local library. or regional library has “Law & order, Special Victims Unit. Season 21 2020 Videos and DVDs”. Also Hawaii Five-0. “The final season 2019 Bomb threats. Kidnappings. Assassinations. And yes, even pirates. The final cases of HPD’s finest are among the hottest the islands have ever seen. In Hawaii Five-0 Season 10”. And they will have subtitles. Your loss 10. And at this time DVDs can be home delivered by their Home Library Service.

  5. The biggest issue for Ten is that 6.00 to 7.30pm time slot. A bigger lead-in may help prime time shows doing better. They need to adjust Sundays to begin shows at 7.00pm inline with the others.

        1. Ten wants to win demos, The 7pm project wins demos. I’m not sure how much more win there is when you already win (apart from winning with a bigger lead).
