Disney+ modern reworking of the classic Black Beauty will screen in late November.
The film stars Kate Winslet, Mackenzie Foy, Iain Glen, Calam Lynch, Claire Forlani, Fern Deacon and Hakeem Kae-Kazim.
In this modern day reimagining of Anna Sewell’s timeless classic, we follow Black Beauty, a wild horse born free in the American West. Rounded up and taken away from her family, Beauty is brought to Birtwick Stables where she meets a spirited teenage girl, Jo Green. Beauty and Jo forge an unbreakable bond that carries Beauty through the different chapters, challenges, and adventures of her life.
Friday 27 December on Disney+.

I remember very well the old UK TV series with one of the best theme songs ever!
When nothing else original is available bring back Black Beauty.
Several Black Beauty films have been screened, including during the silent films era, so I guess it is an old classic, I do wonder how many younger readers will want to buy the Black Beauty book, with Disney in control parents should brace themselves for all the Black Beauty merchandise that will follow this Christmas.
