Axed: Castle Rock

Stephen King drama Castle Rock has been axed in the US after two seasons.

The anthology drama series was based on works including Misery and Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption set in a fictional Maine town.

The first season of starred Andre Holland, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgard, Melanie Lynskey, Scott Glenn, Jane Levy and Terry O’Quinn while the second starred Lizzy Caplan, Tim Robbins, Yusra Warsama, Barkhad Abdi, and Matthew Alan.

Castle Rock aired on FOX Showcase.
