Bluey stuns in Timeshifted viewing

Ratings: It was the penultimate ratings week for 2020 and it went to Nine once more.

Bluey drew stunning figures last week -especially in Timeshifted viewing.

An episode that screened on Monday November 9th drew 232,00 Overnight viewers …but a massive 845,000 in 7 day Timeshifted -bringing the episode’s total to 1.08m viewers last week. The figure is believed to be a new record in 7 day Timeshifting.

State of Origin III, which topped the penultimate ratings week of 2020, set its own record in Live BVOD viewing. Together with The Block, Nine took yet another week.

Nine led the demos 16-39 and 25-54.

Nine won Sunday, Wednesday & Saturday. Seven led on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Both tied for Thursday. ABC bettered 10 every night except Monday.

Nine claimed victory in 4 cities, but Perth did not waver from its loyalty to Seven.

Best brands last week were:

Nine: State of Origin III (1.88m), The Block (Room Winner: 1.07m), Nine News (Sun: 948,000) and A Current Affair (623,000).

Seven: Seven News (947,000),  SAS Australia (Mon: 677,000), Beat the Chasers (630,000) and Home & Away (541,000).

ABC: ABC News (679,000), Australian Story (599,000), Gruen (586,000) and Hard Quiz (584,000).

10: Have You Been Paying Attention? (618,000), Barack Obama: The Interview (471,000), The Project (7pm: 423,000) and The Living Room (384,000).

SBS: Great British Railway Journeys (230,000), Portillo’s Hidden History of Britain (215,000), Scanning the Nile (210,000) and The Great Fire of London (201,000).

This is the last week of 2020 ratings.

  1. The 7-day timeshifting record for the November 9 episode of Bluey only lasted two days…the November 11 episode had a 7-day consolidated increase of 901,000. That means Bluey is the first program to hit both 800,000 and 900,000 mark in 7-day timeshifted viewing. Stunning.
