Nine begins bolt to the finish line

Including this week there are 4 more survey weeks this year and with State of Origin and The Block auction up their sleeve, Nine is sitting in the box seat.

A week ago Seven and Nine were locked on 17 weeks each (plus one week tied), but at 2.1m viewers the NRL Grand Final easily lifted Nine’s scorecard to 18. The Block also led the Reality TV pack. Of course the year is won on annual share not weeks won, but Seven has its work cut out in November.

Amongst the other standouts last week was Bluey at up to 437,000 viewers, and ABC News channel pulling a 6.8% share on Saturday thanks to the Queensland election coverage.

Nine won the demos 16-39 and 25-54.

Nine led on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Seven claimed Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. ABC bettered Seven on Saturday and 10 on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.

Nine was victorious in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Seven held Adelaide & Perth.
