Not to be confused with that other show, Race Across the World returns to Nine next week.
In season 2 five pairs of contestants travel across 16 countries in Central and South America, all without access to a smartphone, or flights and limits to cash.
In this series, they race from Mexico City to the most southerly city in the world, Ushuaia in Argentina.
This opens with a 2.5hr instalment. It premiered in the UK in March.
Updated: 8:30pm Thursday December 3 on Nine.

Just seen on EPGs including Foxtel that it is no longer being shown next Thursday 26th!
8.30 Kings Cross ER
9.30 Chicago Med (Yeah!)
No sign of Race across the world! Has it been taken off as 7 showing 2 episodes of Amazing Race?
Very disappointed that it has been removed from Nine’s schedule. I guess they share an audience with The Amazing Race on Seven. Fingers crossed this one goes ahead soon.
I have updated as Dec 3.
Heard it’s great from friends in the UK. Series 1 was terrific, cannot wait for this
It aired as 8 hour long eps plus a bonus ep. One of the best reality shows of recent years as it is just stripped back to one core premise.
Is Nine burning eps off or was it intended to be 2.5hrs? Thanks
