Seven News, SAS Australia deliver Monday to Seven

Without a certain renovation show around Seven managed a win last night with SAS Australia topping entertainment at 676,000 viewers -that was up on last Monday’s 584,000.
That was ahead of 7:30 (610,000), Australian Story (601,000), Barack Obama: The Interview (470,000) and Gold Coast Cops (416,000 / 400,000) rerun on Nine.
Have You Been Paying Attention? led its slot at 617,000 and topped the older demos then Media Watch (455,000), In the Face of Terror (389,000), The Rookie (329,000 /260,000) and movie: Skyfall (265,000).
Seven network won Monday with 27.7% then Nine 25.5%, 10 20.2%, ABC 19.2% and SBS 7.3%.
Seven News was #1 at 959,000 / 931,000 for Seven. Home & Away was 566,000 then The Chase (487,000 / 301,000).
Nine News was best for Nine at 899,000 / 735,000. A Current Affair drew 666,000 then Hot Seat (449,000 / 284,000).
ABC News won its slot at 735,000 for ABC. Q&A (307,000) and The Drum (194,000) followed.
The Project pulled 480,000 / 289,000 for 10. 10 News First (336,000 / 234,000) and Just for Laughs Australia (273,000) followed.
On SBS it was Great House Revival (153,000), SBS World News (151,000), Life and Birth (103,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (92,000) and Mastermind (71,000).
Bluey topped multichannels at 226,000.

Today: 208,000
News Breakfast: 124,000 / 77,000

Now that Junior MC has finished I can now watch SAS and ‘m loving it.
SAS Australia reminds me of the 7 I used to love. It’s well made, sharp television with heart beneath the brusqueness.
For me that era is the late 90s when 7 would air shows like Full Frontal and Who Dares Wins.
Looks like 3 episodes of SAS to go ends next Tuesday ,should do 800K for a final.
SAS has done alright I think. It’s numbers has been consistent after the ep 2
