    1. Annoyingly, TAR was pushed back in time after just one week. This is the ideal time for it to be shown in prime time or close. These are the programs people want at the moment.

        1. It is a cycle (as with other shows) – a time slot after 10pm guarantees low ratings. It is not like Seven has huge hits in prime time that they don’t have space. The equivalent would be the success Nine has with putting the US Survivor on 9Gem at 8.30pm. This is how the range of channels should be used, instead of pushing shows like this back on the main channel to unwatchable times.

  1. Smart move by Nine to put The Block on against Bachie and very impressive that the Block continues to perform well after so long.

I remember in 2015/2016 when they were doing two seasons a year as well as reno rumble, which tanked in season 2. Looked like Block fatigue was about to set in but Nine reigned it back in and corrected course. Compare to Ten currently who are doubling up on Bachie and Masterchef and not getting the returns they’d like.

  2. Mr Knox, I have a query regarding Seven News Meteorologist David Brown. Do you know if last night was his last? He said something nebulous, with Anchor Mark Ferguson declaring that he will be missed. If this is true, Seven have emphatically made yet another monumental misstep involving one of their most respected on-air talents.

      1. Thanks David. I wasn’t sure. Do you know if he is moving back to Melbourne permanently? I ask for the reason I’m in Sydney and I’ve seen first-hand all the billboards throughout suburban Sydney with a group photo of Mark Ferguson, Mel McLaughlin and David Brown including a catchphrase. It doesn’t make sense to get an audience onboard to watch the 6pm news service if the management at Seven would allow the family to break up. I’m going to miss him.

    1. I think they really need to think about their spacing of the series. Ive never understood why they have always gone back to back with the series – why not do one early in the year and one later so there is more of a gap.
