US actor Bert Belasco, who had a recurring role in stand-up dramedy I’m Dying Up Here, has been found dead, aged 38.
He died in hotel quarantine in Virginia ahead of filming for a movie.
The cause of death has not been confirmed, but the circumstances do not look suspicious, according to media reports. Family believe he may have suffered a fatal aneurysm, but are awaiting autopsy results.
Belasco is better known in the US for shows including Let’s Stay Together and Pitch, although these have not screened in Australia.
He also made appearances in Key & Peele, NCIS: New Orleans, Superstore, The Mick, Justified, House and The Soul Man.
