Big year ahead for Matt Okine

"I'm kind of in a situation where I hope things don't all work out," admits a very busy Matt Okine.

While some performers are waiting for their next gig after a tough 2020, Matt Okine is looking to 2021 and worrying how he will find enough time to do everything.

“I’ve got a couple of things in development at the moment. But what I will say is 2021 is going to be a very big year. Too big… I’m a little bit nervous,” he admitted.

“I’m kind of in a situation where I hope things don’t all work out, otherwise I’ll be in a lot of trouble.

“I’m making the film adaptation of my debut novel (Being Black n’ Chicken n’ Chips), and there’s one project officially in development right now about rappers in Western Sydney. We’re developing it thanks to Create NSW and Wooden Horse.

“There’s something else, another TV comedy. I wish I could tell you more. I’m sorry!”
