Euphoria special arrives early

Euphoria fans don't need to wait until Monday.

A Euphoria special, which was due to premiere on Monday, will arrive early on Binge.

“Part 1: Rue” will be available from 4pm AEDT today (I’m told whatever is on Binge is also at Foxtel On Demand).

The first of two special episodes of the Emmy®-winning HBO drama series, follows Rue (played by Emmy®-winner Zendaya) as she celebrates Christmas, post the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station and relapsing. Written and directed by series creator Sam Levinson, the episode also stars Colman Domingo (Fear The Walking Dead, Selma) who appeared in season one.

A second special standalone episode is set to premiere early next year, before season two begins production, which is slated to commence in 2021.

  1. Rad. Surprised Foxtel went this route but it follows the US distribution of releasing this ep on HBOMax a couple of days before it airs on HBO. Such an underrated series but some of the best storytelling on screen at the moment.
