Home & Away: 2021 teaser

Home and Away returns for its 34th season in early 2021.

Home and Away returns for its 34th season in early 2021, with Seven teasing a new promo.

After the gripping season final last night, Home and Away will explore new beginnings, second chances, love, betrayal and revenge in 2021.

Joining the established ensemble cast is Bridie Carter (McLeod’s Daughters) and Luke Arnold (INXS: Never Tear Us Apart), plus the return of a River Boy.

Bridie Carter stars as Susie McAllister, a real estate agent from Western Australia looking to make a fresh start. Susie quickly establishes herself as a charming, intelligent and attractive out-of-towner who catches the eye of newly single John Palmer (Shane Withington).

Luke Arnold joins as Lewis Hayes, a nurse who went to university with Jasmine (Sam Frost). In the new season, a shared connection between the pair will see sparks fly.

After revealing that he’d like to stay in the bay, Christian (Ditch Davey) asks Tori (Penny McNamee) a life-changing question that will see their relationship progress from a spark to a flame.

  1. I have a feeling that because COVID-19 had an influence on the production schedule possibly the Season final was not what was intended and we might have a dramatic start to the 34th season

    1. No. the season finale was written 6 months in advance. they may have changed some location filming but the finale that aired was what it was always going to be.

  2. As A loyal Home and Away viewer I thought last night season final was very low key
manys season finals I have watched and cannot wait for the return like the time Sally got Stabbed and another time it was a Bus crash and Last year shooting …But it was a real let down for me ….

  3. Gotta love the publicity department. There was nothing gripping about that final last night. Sure some seeds have been planted going forward but that wasn’t what I was expecting to watch. Some of the main cast (Ryder & Mac) weren’t even in the final three episodes.

    1. On a positive note, I’m loving having Rick Donald in the bay. I know he’s been featured in a couple of episodes so far but I’d definitely have promoted him in the 2021 promo too.
