The 8th and final season of French crime drama Spiral begins this week at SBS on Demand.

This French television police procedural and legal drama series following the work and the private lives of Paris police officers and lawyers and judges at the Palais de Justice, Paris.
In this final instalment, the team has to overcome the trauma of Gilou’s incarceration. To restore their reputation, Laure and Ali take a case that no one wants: the homicide of an isolated minor, with no identity.
This season celebrates the show’s 15-year anniversary.

I wondered whether there would be a season 8 as the ending for season 7 would have ended the show nicely, but I suppose the shows characters do deserve a good send off after 15 years, which is a good innings.
Excellent I have just finished The Pier and am looking for something else to stream.
