Who is TV’s Most Overexposed Performer?

These names are attracting reader votes... but for which category?

Sam Pang, Shaun Micallef, Osher Gunsberg, Celia Pacquola, Tom Gleeson, Julia Morris, Grant Denyer, Sonia Kruger, Tom Gleisner, Sam Armytage, Waleed Aly, Karl Stefanovic, Eddie McGuire, David Koch, Scott Cam … just some of the names that are attracting votes in the annual TV Tonight Awards.

But are they for Favourite, Most Underrated or Overexposed Performers?

Some names are even gathering steam on multiple lists.

Readers are currently voting for the best and the worst in 2020 television.

You may have other names you want to throw into the mix.

You can still have your say on these and assorted other categories until voting closes on Tuesday January 5.

  1. With everything that has this year I can’t really think of any TV personality that I felt was over exposed. If anything I feel like celebrities overall were underexposed this year 😂.

  2. I’m sure every regular TV viewer has a TV personality they like or would prefer would go away but ratings are always the main criteria for career success or failure especially during peak viewing times.
Perhaps this article should have a longevity award for the TV personality that has stood the test of time and has sustained the longest career.
Australia has followed the USA creating hype and status with money, so perhaps we should have a who is the most overpaid TV personality award too, plenty to choose from there.

    1. It’s worth noting I did drop the Worst Male/Female in recent years as it felt no longer appropriate. But Overexposed comes back to network casting and talent choices so I still see purpose in this. There’s also still a Worst for show. But plenty of room to extend the fan love too.
