US action drama 9-1-1 returns to Seven on Monday with another big emergency: the mudslide.
Season 4 debuted in the US last week.
When the earthquake hit, they were first on scene. When the tsunami struck, the survivors had them to thank. But will a mudslide be the natural disaster that changes everything for Los Angeles’ first responders?
9-1-1, the hit US drama created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuck and Tim Minear, returns for a fourth season, bringing with it a whole new set of extreme emergencies and personal struggles for the police, firefighters, paramedics and dispatchers living in the City of Angels.
When the Hollywood Reservoir Dam breaks, the race is on as a massive mudslide causes chaos throughout the city, threatening the lives of unsuspecting Angelenos and a world-famous historical landmark.
The personal lives of the first responders are just as shaky as the earth the tread on, as Athena (Angela Bassett) remains determined to put her physical and emotional injuries behind her and return to her patrol duty.
Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Chimney (Kenneth Choi) prepare for the birth of their baby, while Hen (Aisha Hinds) begins her studies at medical school.
Within the chaos, Buck (Oliver Stark) uncovers a shocking family secret and May (Corinne Massiah) decides on a new career path.
9pm Monday February 1 on Seven.

I enjoy this show as a guilty pleasure, but it needs the regular stunts to cover over the hammy acting and oft-cringey writing.
Brilliant show, brilliant cast. Can’t wait for its return.
Absolutely love this show. The cast and storylines, both major and minor are really good.
I really enjoyed the first three seasons of 9-1-1 and I’m extremely excited for the fourth! David, am I right in saying The Rookie follows this?
Yes at 10pm.
‘Attack of the Chocolatey Dessert’…when will they pull out the nukes as a disaster scenario?
