Season 5 of Canadian comedy Letterkenny screens on SBS VICELAND next week.
The 7 part season debuted internationally in 2018 and kicks off with a double episode.
The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding with each other over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked.
Season Five, The Hicks support Wayne. Reilly and Jonesy continue the hunt for the big ship. Stewart has made some changes.
Episode Two: National Senior Hockey Championship
The Hicks continue to be there for their friend. The Hockey Players play Quebec. Stewart learns how to fight.

It would appear that SBS Viceland is cutting out the closing credits of the new Letterkenny episodes. I shouldn’t let this annoy me, but it does, greatly, because the music at the end of episodes is generally fantastic. I wouldn’t have thought SBS would stoop to this.
Hurrah for the return of Letterkenny! But I’m not particularly impressed with the timeslot it’s been given. It couldn’t come back to Thursday night on Viceland as it was previously? Ah well, I’m still happy it’s back.
