Q+A is back for its 2021 season in its regular Thursday slot from February 4th.
Hamish Macdonald hosts in the earlier 8:30pm slot.
On Monday nights ABC looks to be replacing the show with documentaries, with former Foxtel doco The Pacific: In the Wake of Captain Cook with Sam Neill from February 1.
Returning to a new night and a new primetime slot, Q+A is the show that puts you at the centre of the conversation. Join host Hamish Macdonald and a panel of punters, pollies and pundits to talk through the issues of the past seven day, setting the agenda for the week ahead.
In 2021, Q+A is once again set for another year of lively debate and surprising, thought provoking discussions that challenge our thinking on big and complex issues.
8:30pm Thursday February 4 on ABC.

Has Q&A ever been on at 8.30pm before?
I used to watch Q and A with Tony Jones just to see the major drama and bias towards the left.
Many of those who talk about Q&A bias seem to overlook there nearly always a left and right panelist.
FYI …
The Pacific: In the Wake of Captain Cook with Sam Neill starts on February 1st @ 21:35 according the ABC EPG.
I don’t like how it moves to Thursday..nothing wrong with Mondays
I sort of agree with you, it ruins the themes that the ABC had for most nights of the week … Current Affairs on Monday night, Doco’s on Tuesday night, comedy on Wednesday, Crime drama on Friday, etc. Thursday nights were always a “dead” night for some reason.
However, when Q+A 1st started it was on Thursdays at 21:30 … so it has moved back to where it all started on: May 22, 2008.
