Tanya Roberts, known for That ’70s Show, Sheena Queen of the Jungle & A View to a Kill, has died, aged 65.

It follows a corrective report a day earlier that she had not died in an LA hospital.

Roberts was out walking her dogs on Christmas Eve when she collapsed.  According to reports her illness was not COVID-19 related.

She was also chosen from some 2,000 candidates to replace Shelley Hack in the fifth season of Charlie’s Angels. Roberts played Julie Rogers, a streetwise fighter who used her fists more than her gun.

She made her film debut in 1975 with The Last Victim, with credits including the title role in Sheena: Queen of the Jungle, plusThe Beastmaster, Body Slam and Night Eyes.

In 1985’s A View to a Kill, which was Roger Moore’s last in the role of 007, Roberts played Stacey Sutton, an American geologist who becomes a target of villain Max Zorin played by Christopher Walken.

Britt Ekland, who played a Bond girl in The Man With The Golden Gun, tweeted: “Rip Tanya Roberts, once a Bond Girl always a Bond Girl!”

Variety is now reporting former Bond girl and “Sheena: Queen of the Jungle” star Tanya Roberts was mistakenly announced as dead late on Sunday night.

Her representative Mike Pingel told Variety that although her husband, Lance O’Brien, was originally told she had died, the hospital called on Monday morning to report she was still alive. However, Pingel said that Roberts remains in the ICU in “dire” condition.

  1. Yes, TVLine in America have this blog – Despite earlier reports to the contrary, actress Tanya Roberts did not die on Sunday, according to a new statement obtained by TMZ.

  2. And she was the last of the ‘Angels’ in the original TV series of Charlie’s Angels. That’s where i best remember her from. I hope she pulls through, both whatever is ailing her as well as the media circus surrounding it. How horrible for her and the family.
