Airdate: Mare of Easttown

Kate Winslet and Guy Pearce reunite for a new murder miniseries coming to Binge.

New US drama Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet and Guy Pearce will screen on Binge in April, same day as the US.

Created and written by Brad Ingelsby (The Way Back) and directed by Craig Zobel (The Leftovers), the seven-part limited series follows Winslet as Mare Sheehan, a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her.

Guy Pearce, who featured with Winslet in Mildred Pierce, is joined by Julianne Nicholson (The Outsider), Jean Smart (Watchmen) and fellow Aussie Angourie Rice (Black Mirror).

Other cast include Evan Peters (American Horror Story); Cailee Spaeny (Devs); David Denman (Outcast); John Douglas Thompson (Let Them All Talk), Patrick Murney (Seven Seconds); James McArdle (Ammonite); Sosie Bacon (Here and Now); Joe Tippett (Rise); and Neal Huff (The Wire).
