The Kansas City Chiefs meet Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Super Bowl LV on Monday (Australian time).

The game at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa will be broadcast Live from 10am AEDT on Seven.

The Weeknd will be headlining this year’s halftime show, best known for his hits Starboy, Blinding Lights, Can’t Feel My Face, I Feel it Coming.

Managing Director Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin, said: “The Super Bowl is another blockbuster part of Seven’s unbeatable live and free sport offering. This year, the occasion will go to another level altogether, with one of sport’s true legends, Tom Brady, part of one of the most anticipated quarterback showdowns of all-time.”

ESPN will also screen the game Live on Pay TV.

The scene is set for one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time when the NFL’s most decorated quarterback, Tom Brady, leads the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into battle against the game’s biggest superstar Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs live and free on the Seven Network on Monday.

Brady is bidding to cap his fairy-tale first season at the Buccaneers with a record seventh Super Bowl victory. To do so, the 43-year-old will have to overcome Mahomes, who at 25 already has a Super Bowl win and MVP award to his name.

The generational rivals waged an epic overtime battle in the 2019 AFC Championship Game – when Brady led New England to a thrilling 37-31 triumph – and Super Bowl LV is poised to be just as thrilling.

The biggest day in American sport will be broadcast live and free on Channel 7 from 10.00am AEDT on Monday and be live-streamed on 7mate. Seven US correspondent David Woiwod will be in Tampa to capture all the colour and excitement. CBS Sports’ Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will call the action from Raymond Jones Stadium. Three-time Grammy Award winner The Weeknd headlines this year’s much-anticipated halftime show.

Fans can catch all the pre-game news and analysis from 9.30am AEDT on Monday, when former Geelong AFL star and Arizona Cardinals punter Ben Graham joins Cam Luke for a special Super Bowl edition of Armchair Experts on 7mate and 7plus.
