7plus’ live stream of the Super Bowl drew a new high for the event, according to Seven of 7.7 million minutes, up 29% on last year’s previous highest figure. It was the #1 live streamed program on Monday.
279,000 metro viewers in across Seven’s coverage of the match, up 5% on last year’s Super Bowl audience and 34% more people than the audience for Nine’s coverage of the day session of the Australian Open.
The audience also rose to 319,000 for the Half Time Show.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers won 31-9 over the Kansas City Chiefs as Tom Brady claimed a record seventh Super Bowl ring.

Was the 7Plus streaming version proper broadcast 50p framerate, or was it, like most streaming services, ‘half-frame rate’ at 25p? They need to sort this out if they want to present sport properly.
will be interesting next year with winter olympics (if they go ahead) screening on 7 I guess SB will be shunted to 7mate
