Disney+ confirms live action movie premieres

Dates for Disney's Cruella, Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, and Pixar’s Luca.

Disney+ has announced dates for forthcoming Disney films Cruella, Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, and Disney and Pixar’s Luca.

Live-action film Cruella and Marvel Studios’ long-awaited Black Widow will launch simultaneously in theatres and on Disney+ with Premier Access in most Disney+ markets on Friday, May 28 and on Friday, July 9, respectively.

Disney and Pixar’s Luca will stream directly in homes worldwide exclusively on Disney+ beginning Friday, June 18.

  1. Or just wait a couple of months more and watch it on Disney+ without the premier access mark up – I was surprised by how quick Mulan became available on the regular subscription.

  2. Yep, quite willing to pay the $35 to see Black Widow at home for less than the cost of cinema tickets and drinks/snacks. And for those who say it’s not the same, true, but it’s closer than ever with huge screens at home and Dolby Atmos sound.
