  1. Breakfast numbers are down, but a worry for Sunrise. Seven only seem to have their news, other shows are failing them in prime time. The only thing holding up Seven is their loyal Perth audience.

Ultimate Tag don’t do any better than Holey Moley, the social media page is dead as anything. We’ll just need to see next week.

  2. The Australian tv market is bleak. People really do watch trash tv don’t they. I mean the other networks aren’t really putting out much better either *cough* wife swap just to name one but when you see MAFS at the top you just wonder sometimes. I get it, people have a guilty pleasure about it but its honestly terrible tv. In saying that, Under Investigation on the otherhand was decent viewing.

    1. By contrast, Countdown used to have 3 million viewers a week when Australia’s population was 13 million, TV is dying, no one under 40 watches it anymore… the commercial stations are all crap as well…

      1. Yes FTA is down but it is fragmenting. There were 2.4m Australians per day on average in 2020 and they are certainly not all over 40. 18 – 24 is the biggest group in BVOD. Don’t measure shows pre-OzTAM to current, it’s a different measurement… frankly I wouldn’t even compare shows over 5 years ago.

  3. Under investigation was very interesting to watch, however the backdrop s screens showing moving trees for the majority of the show made it very distracting.

    1. I dislike any moving backgrounds….puts me off most shows…some I leave on but just listen to 2nd screen…so very annoying….but I gave up complaining…..

      1. I agree, but I mean this week, they would’ve switched the kids and celebrity episodes around, with the kids one starting at 7 on Sunday instead of Monday 7:30.

I dread to think what Tag is going to do for them.
