One year on, TV is returning to the desk…
"It’s a sign of how far Australia has come in the fight against Covid-19."

The Project panel has made a giant step towards restoring its customary presentation last night.
“We’ve officially brought four people back onto the desk, one year on from our first day of lockdown. It’s a sign of how far Australia has come in the fight against Covid-19.”
Indeed, Australia has just 1 locally-transmitted case in the past 7 days.
Here are a few others that have recently returned presenters to the couch.

Hopefully audiences can return soon for applicable shows (including Hot Seat)
David, why do male breakfast presenters wear suits and ties? Is it supposed to portray a sense of experience and professionalism? Must be mighty odd putting on a suit at 5am knowing lots of people watching you are in their pyjamas!
Michael Rowland doesn’t, and I have no complaint.
Its because they are lazy and can wear the same outfit every day for a year and nobody notices
Tony Armstrong rocked a t-shirt/jacket combo last week on ABC news breakfast – he’s been a great addition to that panel
I find it odd too, especially on weekends. I’d like to see Matt Doran dress more casually, and mess that hair up a bit. Larry Emdur dresses well, jeans, shirt and jacket
call me old fashioned but I like a bit of Decorum. Wearing a suit is setting a standard. Sunrise did run a poll many years ago after Kochie started to wear smart casual and the poll told him to wear a suit.
Thank you. They are presenting news, ofcourse they should be in suites.
Footy Classified is also back to normal programming!
