Studio audience returns to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon

“I’ve never been so excited to do a show for 58 people in my entire life."

“I’ve never been so excited to do a show for 58 people in my entire life,” Jimmy Fallon said. “After last year, this is like performing at a sold-out Madison Square Garden.”

The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon has begun resuming studio audience members as it returns to its longtime home of Studio 6B at the Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Fallon’s audience was made up of fully vaccinated first responders and and health care workers.

The Tonight Show appears to be the first nightly network late-night show in the US to bring back a live audience since the pandemic.

By contrast in Australia, some shows are already returning to studio audiences with near-capacity crowds.

  1. I used to watch and enjoy it. I think we’ve been deprived of an entertaining show. There are bits and pieces online, but it’s too much of a PITA to find and watch on a so-called smart TV.
