Survivor US heading back to Fiji

"Fiji has invited us back to their beautiful country to shoot season 41," says a pumped Jeff Probst.

Good news for fans of Survivor US with host and executive producer Jeff Probst confirming the show is heading back to Fiji to film Season 41.

A (very) pumped Jeff Probst took to social media to tell fans the good news.

“Fiji has invited us back to their beautiful country to shoot season 41,” he said. “We have all of our COVID protocols in place so that everybody in Fiji will remain safe, all of our crew will be safe and, of course, our players will be safe.”

He added that he couldn’t remember a time he was this excited to shoot the show. “The past year has reminded me — and I hope it’s reminded you — that you got to live your life like it’s one big great adventure, and Survivor fulfills that,” he said.

“So, I am thrilled to say I will see you on the island for Survivor 41. Let’s do it!”

Fiji currently has 0 cases of COVID-19.

Australian Survivor is filming its upcoming season in Cloncurry, north-west Queensland.

  1. Fiji, like Samoa, really handled the Covid issues very well. Some may say better than Australia. Even so, I guess they will be confined to the filming island, and Nadi airport.
