Seven has announced an early edition of The Latest to screen tonight at 8:30pm.
This will be a special 30-minute analysis of the ongoing fallout following the allegations made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and is hosted by Michael Usher and Angela Cox.
It will screen after Declassified: The Royal Scandals, which is at 7.30pm, and will hear from Princess Diana’s former bodyguard Ken Wharfe, legendary UK news photographer Arthur Edwards, and London-based Australian author and Royal Family friend Kathy Lette.
This pushes 9-1-1 to a 9pm start with The Rookie at 10pm, similar to recent weeks in any case.

It would have been nice for 7 to update their EPG so my recordings don’t cut out half way through but they never do. This seems to be a regular occurrence with Channel 7 – it used to be nightmare trying to record Blindspot.
and the 30 minute unnecessary news bulletin about a story that ran out of life 4 days ago, runs 46 minutes. Now they are just taking the P155…
It’s 9:02pm and Seven have updated online TV Guides, Foxtel but still haven’t updated the EPG. A manual recording it will have to be.
Seven…first with last week’s breaking news? The Latest indeed.
I hope they do it tomorrow night too. That means I can watch all of TAG on Flix then The Good Dr…
We’re a week on from the interview. I think the horse may have bolted on this one…
This will no doubt draw viewers in (either or both the special and The Latest), but can’t see it doing Oprah or Karl/Leila figures like last week, just because of Seven’s ratings at 7:30pm at the moment and eventual fatigue will surely be gradually setting in over this saga soon.
