Aden Young and Sam Trammell lead a US crime thriller filmed entirely in Australia.

2019 crime thriller Reckoning, filmed entirely in Australia, debuts next week on Seven.

The 10 part series, with Sydney doubling for the US, was produced by Playmaker for Sony-owned AXN.

In addition to the leads Aden Young and Sam Trammell there are loads of recognisable faces: Simone Kessell, Toby Schmitz, Milly Alcock, Ed Oxenbould, Diana Glenn, Robert Mammone and Jacqueline McKenzie.

When an infamous serial killer who has gone dormant for years is believed to have killed again, two families in a quiet, suburban neighborhood are put on a dangerous collision course. Homicide Detective Mike Serrato (Aden Young) and High School Guidance Counselor Leo Doyle (Sam Trammell) have struggled for years to do what is best for the people they love and the families they are desperate to protect. But when old obsessions begin to possess them, the murder of a local teenager sets Mike and Leo on a course of mutual destruction that will emanate through every facet of their lives.

Created by David Hubbard (Noel) who is co-showrunner with David Eick (Battlestar Galactica, Falling Skies), Reckoning is executive produced by Playmaker’s David Taylor and David Maher (The Code, Chosen), produced by Diane Haddon (The Code, Friday On My Mind), directed and co-executive produced by Shawn Seet (The Code, Storm Boy) with Jennifer Leacey (Bite Club, Pulse) and Peter Andrikidis (Bite Club, Underbelly) also directing.
