Dancing down as MAFS tops Monday

Ratings: Nine led from 6 - 9pm last night, with MAFS nearly double Seven's dancing crowd.

Dancing with the Stars: All Stars has dipped in its second outing, falling from 744,000 on Sunday to 558,000 last night. Erin McNaught was eliminated from the show after a first-ever 3 way tie.

Married at First Sight is holding its audience til the very end at 1.09m last night effectively double 7:30 (543,000), Australian Story (524,000), What the Hell Happens Next? (237,000) and Historic House Rescue (184,000).

Later Four Corners was best at 468,000 then Media Watch (445,000), Law & Order: Organized Crime (416,000) and Mrs. Brown’s Boys (319,000).

Nine network won Monday with 33.9% then Seven 25.9%, ABC 16.5%, 10 15.5% and SBS 8.2%.

Both Nine News (1.00m / 970,000) and A Current Affair (812,000) won their slots then Hot Seat (431,000 / 269,000). Footy Classified was 110,000 across the network with 100% Footy at 55,000.

Seven News (998,000 / 986,000) was best for Seven. Home & Away was 564,000 then The Chase (531,000 / 351,000) with Idris Elba Meets Paul McCartney on 113,000.

ABC News (686,000) led for ABC. Invisible Wars (241,000) and The Drum (174,000) followed.

The Project (489,000 / 362,000) was best for 10. 10 News First was 390,000 / 276,000 but a Hughesy We Have a Problem compilation struggled on just 135,000 with Best Of The Sydney Comedy Festival at only 95,000.

On SBS it was SBS World News (197,000 / 168,000), Secret Scotland (194,000), 24 Hours In Emergency (147,000) and Mastermind (86,000).

  1. I turned Footy Classified off within the first minute after I saw that Caroline Wilson wasn’t on the show last night… it was Sam McClure. Ugh. I cannot stand a bar of him…

    1. I love watching Caroline and Eddy, it’s so amusing to see them interact and almost want the last word. I really wish I was on earlier up in Sydney or able to stream live on 9Now. By the next day all the good bits are online and makes me not bother

  2. I wanted to like DWTS, but it is so poorly edited. It doesn’t breathe – the flow of it is all over the shop not being live – there was something fun about it being a bit messy and live – always on the edge! And Daryl is no longer a good presenter. Sonya is fun. The judges are a welcome return though.
