Dancing with the Stars: grand finalists

Luke Jacobz dazzles with perfect score as he joins makes grand final -but one star was a shock upset.

Dancing with the Stars: All Stars has chosen its Grand Finalists in Luke Jacobz, Bec Hewitt, Kyly Clarke, Ada Nicodemou, Lincoln Lewis and, in a shock result, Manu Feildel.

Feildel drew the lowest scores after his sole dance last night but audience votes led to three couples to battle it out.

With three judges tied over the remaining dancers ‘hanging judge’ Todd McKenney broke the deadlock by awarding Manu Fieldel a grand final place, sending Renee Bargh and Jamie Durie packing.

Luke Jacobz won the night with 4 x 10s and a perfect score.

On Sunday Seven screens its pre-recorded grand final, which looks like being the most skilled across any of the seasons. Seven is teasing 2 perfect scores to be awarded.

7pm Sunday on Seven.

  1. I have been recording it and will catch up at some stage on it, but sunday night I did tune in or a bit and saw Luke’s phenomenal dancing and also forgot how good a show it is to watch.

Sonia is great and Daryl has also been good. As much as I enjoyed the ch10 judges it’s nice to see the old game back together.

  2. I disagree on Daryl. Yes- he old school & a bit chessy, but he suits this style of show. It’s what makes it different. I’ve only watched a few eps of this series, but have enjoyed the ones I’ve seen. It’s good family entertainment and at least it’s not another cooking or home renovation show.

  3. This will probably be renewed. It could be kept mostly intact. The judges are still strong, Sonia is very well suited to this, and the pre-recording works fine. The only change needed is Daryll, bump him out and replace him with Luke.

  4. Credit where it’s due – this has been really good. I think having it pre-recorded has even helped, with things not dragging out too much.
