Gallery: RocKwiz rocks the Bowl

For many of the RocKwiz team, a Good Friday show marked their first live gig in a very long time.

They were rockin’ in their socially-distant private decks at RocKwiz‘s Good Friday show at the Myer Music Bowl.

Julia Zemiro, Brian Nankervis, Dugald, and the RocKwiz Orkestra were joined by Emma Donovan, Leo Sayer, Paul Dempsey, Ali Barter and Freya Josephine Hollick, plus The Wolfgramm Sisters, the Last Supper Horns and comedians Zoe Coombs Marr, Otto and Astrid.

Brian Nankervis told TV Tonight, “It was our first live outing since November 2019 and for many of us, the first show for a long time in front of a real, live audience, so there was a definite sense of excitement, nervous energy, but ultimately exhilaration, as we performed on a beautiful Melbourne evening in front of 2000 happy fans.”

Next up for the team is a Eurovision themed RocKwiz  at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival on June 25 and then a 28 show national tour in October / November -and repeat episodes are still playing on SBS VICELAND.
