  1. Could have been ‘Salmon patty’-I rather think there’s little time or editorial oversight given to the screen crawler or other captions, especially on the commercial networks.

  2. It’s probably the text autocorrect. It’s really common now in emails and correspondence and it’s like interpreting a new language when these misspellings and incorrect words appear. I also like the thought that someone at Seven could have been searching for roti bread recipes for the word to have appeared in autocorrect if it wasn’t already in the database.

  4. Sadly typical of many lower thirds on our TV screens. News is also a big offender. I’d say you’d be able to spot one or two typos every single broadcast.
