Renewed: NCIS, Bull, Blue Bloods

Hit procedural will return for a 19th season with star Mark Harmon plus other US dramas back on 10.

Break out the 10 BOLD champers, CBS has renewed NCIS for a 19th season.

Star Mark Harmon has also been secured for a further season, despite suggestions he was ready to move on from the role he originated on JAG back in 2003.

The Hollywood Reporter does speculate as to whether Harmon will be back full-time, however. One option that was being explored during negotiations was for Harmon to only appear in a limited number of episodes. It’s also uncertain how many episodes season 19 will consist of — the pandemic shortened 17th and 18th seasons, and it’s unclear at this time if season 19 will be similarly affected.

Whether this will be the show’s final season is also not yet known.

NCIS remains a ratings powerhouse, regularly drawing more than 12 million US viewers per episode.

Meanwhile CBS also approved Season 6 for Bull,  and Season 12 for Blue Bloods, which also screen across 10 network.

  1. as much as I enjoyed NCIS in it’s heyday..it’s getting a bit tired…maybe the OG series needs to take a backseat… will be interesting if new Hawaii series will be any good… remembering that Hawaii FiveO has owned this island state for awhile
