US reality series Below Deck could be Australia bound….
TV Tonight hears whispers reality series filmed aboard boats will be shooting in the Whitsundays. The series in question has done “many seasons” of the show with a US crew.
And a description like that puts Below Deck at the top of the list, a show which chronicles the lives of crew members who work and reside aboard a superyacht, during charter season.
It has notched up 8 seasons based out of Greece, Thailand, Tahiti, the Bahamas, the US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands as well as a spin-off Below Deck Mediterranean.
Based out of Airlie Beach, filming of the show concerned is due to begin at the end of April.

Far out…this is my most guiltiest of pleasures and an Aussie based series makes me absolutely salivate. But who to take the helm, Captain Lee or Sandy – they’re both so darn good!
Having watched most of the series, the last season (as COVID was breaking) had 3 Australian crew members on board, so it’s an easy pick up for the producers and transition for fans who will see familiar faces.
