Schapelle Corby out of Dancing with the Stars

Polarising 'wildcard' eliminated after dancing the jive, while Tom Williams acknowledges the pressure of living up to the past.

Polarising ‘Wildcard’ Schapelle Corby was eliminated from Seven’s Dancing with the Stars: All Stars after dancing the jive with partner Shae Mountain -one episode longer than her 2020 appearance in SAS Australia.

She drew 20 points in her second performance, down from her first dance at 26 points -and one which genuinely impressed judges.

But last night she faced a dance-off with fellow ‘Wildcard’ Matty J. only to be eliminated by judges.

Asked if she would continue dancing she quickly replied, “No! It has been so incredibly hard.”

The episode also saw Tom Williams fighting back tears after “a complete meltdown” backstage.

“My emotion and getting inside my head is getting tough at the moment,” he said.

When asked if he felt under pressure to live up to expectations associated with his Season 2 win he said, “Yep.”

  1. I really enjoyed her first dance. It was beautiful.
Despite what others say here & elsewhere, she’s done her time, so if you have a problem with her, maybe don’t watch whatever she may be in next. Good Luck to her.

    1. Schapelle worked hard to get those dances down. The waltz in the red gown was stunning. For a person who never did this type of dancing before, the second night was great as well. I would have liked a softer pastel gown with the fringes of the time to flatter her a little more. But well done Schapelle. 👍Leave the trolls to do their thing. They don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Just following the media like sheep without any thinking process going on.

  2. She should never have been included! Note to channel 7…stop providing convicted criminals with opportunities to recreate their image..yes she did her time but she is a proven drug dealer..think about the people her deleveries affected.
