Screen Actors Guild Awards 2021: winners

Wins for The Crown, Schitt's Creek, The Queen's Gambit, Ted Lasso, Ozark.

The Crown and Schitt’s Creek were amongst winners at the 27th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards yesterday.

Presented in a one hour virtual ceremony after being postponed in January, these did not screen in Australia this year.

  1. There should have been a category for best sci-fi series too, as this genre needs all the promotional kudos it can get, sci-fi shows tend to get the funding chop sooner than most other genres.

        1. Because ‘stunt’ isn’t acting-it’s a technical service like lighting or cinematography or costuming-all vital to a production, but requires no lines to be delivered.

          1. It’s still performing. Not sure why there’s a need to undervalue their contribution when their own peers are recognising them.
