The Leadership is an independent documentary by award winning director Ili Baré and produced by Bunya Productions, which focuses on the first Homeward Bound program and the systemic inequalities for women in STEMM.

Filmed in 2016, The Leadership follows the journey of 76 women in STEMM and 10 leadership facilitators as they participate in the inaugural Homeward Bound program, culminating in a 21-day voyage from Argentina to Antarctica and back. Through telling the stories of several women on board, the film addresses the need to remove the structural inequalities in STEMM to allow for more women leaders that will in turn create a better future for the planet.
