Aussie talent lands Amazon Prime coup

In a major coup for Australian actor / director Rhys Wakefield (True Detective, Home & Away, The Purge), a sci-fi podcast he co-created is getting a TV adaptation by Amazon Prime.
From Now features Richard Madden (Game Of Thrones, Bodyguard) and Brian Cox (Succession) as identical twin brothers separated by time. The story chronicles the aftermath of their historic reunion when astronaut Edward Fitz’s (Madden) spacecraft suddenly reappears in Earth’s orbit after having gone missing 35 years earlier — and Edward emerges looking the exact same age as when he left. Both will serve as executive producers alongside co-creator William Day Frank.
The podcast series debuted in December 2020 and peaked at number two overall in the Apple Podcast charts.
