Seven’s upcoming Spotlight interview with Craig McLachlan may be forced to screen a different version in Victoria due to upcoming court cases.
McLachlan was acquitted of all charges relating to Rocky Horror Show allegations in December.
But there is still a defamation suit against ABC and newspapers The Age and Sydney Morning Herald (both under Fairfax ownership at the time of publication).
A different edition may screen in Victoria with geoblocking online.
A Seven spokesperson confirmed to TV Tonight, “The broadcast will adhere to the legal requirements in respective markets.”
A date is yet to be announced for the tell-all interview, in which McLachlan gives his side of the story.
The defamation trial is yet to be rescheduled.
