Have You Been Paying Attention? leads Monday entertainment

Ratings: Lego wins slot but Big Brother & MasterChef both lift. Seven wins Monday.

Have You Been Paying Attention? had a winning night topping entertainment at the demos at 749,000 metro viewers. It was up on last week for 10.

That was very nearly double Media Watch (389,000), then Four Corners (359,000), and 9-1-1 (289,000).

Lego Masters still lead earlier with 734,000 then lifts by Big Brother (638,000) and MasterChef Australia (623,000). Both 7:30 (581,000) and Australian Story (484,000) were down on last Monday.

Seven network won Monday with 27.9% then Nine 26.1%, 10 22.6%, ABC 15.5% and SBS 7.9%.

Seven News was #1 at 1.06m / 1.03m. Home & Away was 604,000 then The Chase (592,000 / 358,000). SWAT drew 172,000.

Nine News (1.04m / 1.03m) led for Nine. A Current Affair won its slot at 730,000 then Hot Seat (477,000 / 264,000). RBT was 147,000 in 2 cities then, in an early slot, Footy Classified was 121,000 across the network which may have cost Nine the night. 100% Footy was 54,000 in 3 cities.

The Project was 521,000 / 314,000 for 10. 10 News First drew 371,000 / 251,000 then a repeat of How to Stay Married (239,000).

ABC News pulled 664,000 for ABC. The Drum (179,000) and Greta Thunberg: A Year to Change the World (159,000) followed.

On SBS it was Secret Scotland (195,000), SBS World News (182,000 / 144,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (150,000), Secrets of the Tower of London (141,000) and Mastermind (90,000).

NCIS led multichannels at 173,000.

  1. Footy Classified is on GEM in QLD and Monday’s episode usually starts just after midnight. Wednesday’s episode is never on before 1:30am Thursday morning. Usually I record them and watch the next day. Don’t understand why Wednesdays is on so late considering they only have those shopping ads on before it.

  2. Footy classified and 100% footy need to move to one of the secondary channels The split cities is costing Nine. Can’t see them allowing this to continue for much longer

    1. Even though I enjoy Footy Classified you wonder whether it is economic for 9 to continue with it at all given its often very late timeslot and low ratings.
