Disney+ is marking "Star Wars Day" with new titles and themed artwork across their landing page.

It’s May the 4th or “Star Wars Day” for Disney+ which is marking the occasion with new titles and a platform takeover.

Artwork by a group of global artists and Star Wars fans has taken over the Disney+ landing page from Tuesday, May 4th until Saturday, May 9th.

Jerrell B Jimerson, EVP of Products & Design, Disney+ said, “We are constantly challenging ourselves to create experiences that engage fans more deeply and creatively with the Disney+ user interface. Whenever they open the app, we want viewers to feel like they are entering a truly unique Disney experience. For this year’s ‘May the 4th,’ we teamed up with Lucasfilm to celebrate the fans that make this day possible by showcasing multiple pieces of impressive fan art created by the Star Wars community on Disney+.”

New Star Wars series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch has dropped today plus Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens From Its Nap,’ the first of several from The Simpsons that will release throughout the year.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch
The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

In a daycare far, far away… but still in Springfield, Maggie is on an epic quest for her stolen pacifier.
