Networks tie on primary channels

Ratings: TV doubles down with Seven & Nine / 10 & ABC deadlocked.

It was a most unusual result in primary channels last week.

Seven and Nine tied for Total People, while 10 and ABC also tied for Total People.

But Seven’s multichannels pushed them to their fourth week in a row.

Seven led in 16-39 but Nine won 25-54 demos.

Nine won Sunday – Wednesday, Seven claimed Thursday – Saturday. ABC bettered 10 on Friday only.

Seven was victorious in Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine held Sydney & Brisbane.

Best brands last week were:

Seven: Seven News (Sun: 1.08m), 7News Spotlight (720,000), Seven’s AFL (639,000) and Big Brother (Mon: 592,000).

Nine: Lego Masters (Winner Announced: 1.00m), Nine News (Sun: 941,000), A Current Affair (688,000) and Travel Guides (629,000).

10: Have You Been Paying Attention? (654,000), MasterChef Australia (Sun: 586,000), The Project (7pm: 441,000) and 10 News First (336,000).

ABC: Hard Quiz (620,000), ABC News (604,000), Australian Story (575,000) and Vera (520,000)

SBS: The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys (199,000), See What You Made Me Do (175,000), Who Do You Think You Are? (167,000) and History of Britain (161,000).

  1. Have noticed a decline in Gem and Go for 9. Perhaps there main channel is taking viewers eyes??? Only so many times you can watch re-run movies like Junior, etc.
