Three US procedurals which screen on Seven have been renewed in the USA.
9-1-1 is getting a fifth season and spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star a third, while medical drama The Resident lands a fifth season.
9-1-1 is FOX’s most watched series (other than NFL programming) this season, averaging about 9.9 million viewers after a week of delayed viewing.
9-1-1: Lone Star ranks second on the network with just under 9 million viewers.
The Resident is averaging about 5.8 million viewers.
Both 9-1-1 and The Resident are currently screening seasons in Australia on Seven.

Happy The Resident has been renewed even though the current season 4 has been quite patchy. At one point they were integrating public hospital challenges but that seems to have lasted one or two episodes and disappeared. Also it’s such a shame the Mina character is gone.
Thanks for the spoiler for those of us who’ve only watched the first three seasons on Disney!
Rachel as Seven is screening S4 (only 1 ep behind) this doesn’t qualify as a spoiler here.
I’m extremely glad both 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star have been renewed! They, along with The Rookie, are my favourite police procedural dramas on the TV, so I’m delighted I’ll get to see more of them!
If 7’s “currently screening seasons in Australia” of The Resident, sure as hell would like to find out which day and what time…
Tuesdays at 10pm after The Good Doctor.
Used to be, but not now.
Awesome news. Love all three shows 🙌🏻
