US drama Big Sky has been renewed for a second season.
The David E. Kelley thriller follows the investigation into the kidnapping of two sisters on a remote highway in Montana. The cast includes Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury, Ryan Phillippe and John Carroll Lynch.
Season two will also get a new showrunner in Elwood Reid (Barkskins, The Bridge), who joined the show for the second half of the current season. Kelley will remain involved creatively.
Big Sky is on broadcast TV in the US, averaging 7.86 million viewers which lifts to 12.18 million total viewers across platforms.

Enjoying this show, but Disney+/Star are now 4-5 episodes behind the US. Anyone know why they’ve stopped dropping episodes weekly? Been stuck on S1E9 for a few weeks now.
