Auditions are (apparently) open for Win the Week which began on ABC.
The quiz covers politics to world events, sport and celebrity gossip and pairs contestants with a celebrity.
“The quiz show where you can betray your way to the top. Join Alex Lee and Craig Reucassel, as everyday Australians are paired with celebrities in a test of news knowledge and loyalty,” a casting notice says.
“In Win The Week, three teams of two players go head-to-head over four rounds. Each team is made up of an everyday Aussie as team captain and a celebrity guest who will need to work together to win. But team loyalties will be put to the test at the end of each round with a dramatic “Stay or Betray” choice – one team captain must decide whether to stay with their celebrity teammate or to betray them and swap to a different celebrity from another team in order to win.”

That looks like the set from Jeopardy!
Watched the premiere. Liked it, but as everyone else has said the fact it’s a new new show means it’ll take some time to find its feet. When I first saw the pitch I honestly thought Alex was going to be the sidekick to Craig. Delighted to be proved wrong. I’ll tune in again in a few weeks.
I didn’t think it was all that bad I got a few laughs out of it
After making it through the debut, we’ve gone from Hard Quiz to a hard pass.
Interesting to see viewer retention rates this week.
Nice to see a fresh format in the game show genre. With some fine tuning of edits and time the show will develop into something highly watchable. Nice work ABC.
