Home & Away, Big Brother help Seven win Wednesday
Ratings: Travel Guides neck and neck with Hard Quiz. Big Brother tops the demos.

In TV programming the only thing better than a seamless transition of audience from show to show is one that increases.
Last night Seven managed all 602,000 Home & Away metro viewers to stay for Big Brother also at 602,000, with the latter topping the demos.
But it was Travel Guides (662,000) neck and neck with Hard Quiz 661,000 that led the slot in Total People. Next were 7:30 (626,000), and MasterChef Australia (547,000).
Later Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell was 581,000 then Doctor Doctor (399,000), You Can’t Ask That (365,000) and movie: The Hangover (237,000).
Seven network won Wednesday with 29.2% then Nine 26.2%, 10 18.9%, ABC 17.5% and SBS 8.1%.
Seven News was #1 at 1.05m / 1.01m for Seven. Â The Chase was 598,000 / 376,000.
Nine News (1.00m / 946,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair was 705,000 then Hot Seat (524,000 / 317,000).
The Project drew 487,000 / 298,000 for 10. 10 News First (388,000 / 248,000) and Bull (229,000 / 168,000) followed.
ABC News won its slot at 716,000. QI was 234,000 then The Drum (204,000) and The Set (89,000).
On SBS it was SBS World News (197,000 / 146,000), Britain’s Cathedrals with Tony Robinson (179,000), Secrets of Coca Cola (174,000), Mastermind (106,000). Bloodlands was 82,000.
Latest Victorian govt update saw ABC News at Noon top multichannels at 223,000.

David any chance you can give us the figures for the Eviction segment of Big Brother like you do for the Apprentice boardroom?
Nope… that’s all up to OzTAM or the network itself, not me. Not a fan of this concept frankly.
