Peter Mitchell didn’t realise he was back on air when he grabbed a water bottle during an ad break on Seven News Melbourne last night.

“Just having a drink of water,” he added after the story.

At the end of the bulletin Mitch yanked it out again from under the desk, chuckling at his boo-boo.
