Airdate: Red Notice

Upcoming film stars Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.

Netflix has teased an airdate (and not much more) for Red Notice, coming in November.

The film starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds from director Rawson Marshall Thurber is believed to be Netflix’s most expensive film so far.

An Interpol-issued Red Notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the FBI’s top profiler (Johnson) and two rival criminals (Gadot, Reynolds), there’s no telling what will happen.

Friday November 12 on Netflix.

  1. To my mind even though spending multi millions making a movie does have obvious promotional value for Netflix I believe some programming policy change must happen sooner or later about not paying for high profile stars and directors egos and just spend the money on producing quality entertainment, the budget for Red Notice probably could have paid for two or three good TV series and prove better value for money for Netflix viewers as well.

    1. I think this just the natural evolution of the streaming media, the same like film studios and TV networks. They start off or go through a period were they are willing to punt in the unique and experimental ideas but over time as the companies become more established and presumably company costs start rising they seem to gravitate to the generic safe bets.
