Disney+ has unveiled a new trailer for Marvel Studios’ What If…?, an animated series which reimagines famous events from films in the Marvel Universe.
This marks Marvel Studios’ first-ever animated series.
Creating a multiverse of infinite possibilities, “What If… ?” features fan-favourite characters, including Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger, Thor and more. The new series, directed by Bryan Andrews with AC Bradley as head writer, features signature MCU action with a curious twist.
Wednesday, August 11 on Disney+.

Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. is Marvel Studios first animated series
Not according to Disney. Maybe it had a longer gestation, dunno.
Modok isn’t a Marvel Studios production, but by Marvel Television (who did Runaways, for example). This is also why it’s considered a Star Original in Australia, because it airs on Hulu, not Disney+, in the states.
