  1. I Do Think 7 should have apologised for the non appearance of the Chase Tonight their is more important things than the Olympics going on in the world right now

  2. Went to watch it tonight (tuesday) and had olympic kayaking instead. We live in Cairns so don’t know if it was a regional problem or national.Pretty poor as these are new episodes.

  3. I thought Larry did well, although I think he could up the pace a little. Not as bad as Bradley in the UK, though, who dawdles through the cash builder round.

I despise the truncated format too. Thankfully it’s only for two weeks.

  4. My mum always watches hot seat, but flicked over to the case last night because of Larry. He is just one of those down to earth friendly people that no one really says a bad word about

  5. Interesting ratings for the prime time 7:30 slot with networks not dropping by much despite the Olympics. Perhaps people switching after they have seen the show they are invested in. HYBPA did drop but not significantly. Well done networks for offering alternatives during this time.

  6. Yeah Larry did a great job, as you’d expect. I just think he needs to be a bit quicker when he says “correct”. Also I knew Anne was returning but didn’t know Mark was. Nice surprise.

  7. From one episode i must say i prefer Larry to Andrew. Time will tell i guess but a great debut. Also i must say i do prefer the shorter format. I know its only here while the Olympics are on but think it works better.

  8. Great episode of The Chase last night a good chance to reset especially with Hot Seat nipping at the heels, I think Larry’s more measured tone and experience will increase the audience long term, especially if The Chase can shake off the “it’s the show where no one wins” reputation

  9. Great to see Larry debut on The Chase. I’ve always loved Andrew’s work but have grown a bit tired of him lately. I think the press surrounding him has played a role in that. So I think all in all the change is for the best.
